PQMS Process and Business Improvement
"Wouldn’t it be good to have an independent qualified expert conduct an assessment of our business and then provide us with straightforward, efficient and cost-effective solutions to help improve performance and profit?"

Many problems or inefficiencies can be attributed to overcomplicated processes/systems, or the fact that they have evolved over time with reactive “add-ons” to take account of a new customer or business requirement. It is very difficult for those who are involved with a process/system to “step-back and look in from the outside” to re-assess and improve the process/system.

Most processes/systems can give the impression that they are satisfying their Business Objectives and in many cases they probably are, or are perceived to be! But are they really?

A detailed review/assessment of existing procedures/systems through a “fresh pair of eyes” will identify different ways of doing things that will improve efficiencies and productivity and will ultimately lead to increased profit.

World class companies only achieve profits of around 10% of turnover, most rarely achieve this. It stands to reason then that anything that can be done to reduce costs will have a positive impact on profit.

PQMS Process & Business Improvement Overview

This initial free of charge consultative meeting is primarily for PQMS to gain an understanding of your business, your specific business objectives and targets. It also gives you the opportunity to discuss any issues/problems that you have identified.

The Business Analysis will not normally take more than one day. PQMS will look at all aspects of the business to identify: areas for potential improvement, any gaps, and waste.

The Summary Report is primarily a document to assist the scoping of the project. It will detail areas for potential improvement, with the rationale, and the benefits that can be realised.

During this meeting PQMS will discuss the output from the Business Analysis in detail. The purpose of this meeting is to define the project scope, its objectives and agree contract.

This initial stage of the project will analyse the areas defined within the project scope in more detail. This will enable the production of detailed action plans, timescales and define measurable objectives.

Project is initiated with ongoing review as appropriate.
